Dialogue is often used as a general word for all discussions. On the other hand, dialogue is also considered a very complex and fragile term. It was this ambiguity and difficult perception of dialogue that led us to develop Dialogue Blocks. They are intended to illustrate the dialogue and help to realize its elements. Dialogue blocks can also be used to practice and develop dialogic interaction skills.
Dialogue blocks can be used to learn and realize what dialogic interaction is. The blocks can be held in the hand and stacked, they can be turned and viewed – you can laugh and cry by them. And at the same time enriches their own perceptions of themselves with others. The encounters by the blocks are just as profound and interesting as people dare to talk to each other. Dialogues always take place in the present moment and we have the opportunity to influence those moments.
